“I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.” -Revelations 3:8
A Short Story and a Poem
Dedicated to the Epic Failures of Love.
If it wasn’t worth Failing for,
It wouldn’t be worth Winning for.
And now a Door was Open,
An unusually Auspicious Omen,
“Only offered Once”, Words Spoken,
A Choice must now be Chosen
Hiding behind the Mask of a Lion,
was a Terrified Mouse still Cryin’,
Wiping away tears, he won’t stop Tryin’,
To acquire the Prize he had his Eye On.
Fearfully Brave, like he practiced in Hell’s Fire,
and Powered by Love, stepping in with a Roar,
Loudly he Commanded, his last true Desire
Intimidating even Gods, who all fell to the Floor,
with words saying…
“No more Violence, No more War!”
